Guillaume Diard, founder and managing director of GD&T, trained as a fashion designer. After working as an assistant in a number of major Parisian fashion houses, he quickly branched out into workshop work, before taking charge of the development of the design office for a major luxury ready-to-wear garment factory.
In 2016, he founded GD&T to offer, through his services, a global vision of the development and industrial fine-tuning of a woman’s or man’s garment. This vision of development engages a reflection on the simplification of mass production, by proposing technical solutions adapted to quality and cost constraints, inherent to the evolutions of the luxury and high-end ready-to-wear industries.
Cécile & Silvi, demanding patternmakers and graders, and the staff of LYS COUTURE ONE and MASLA, the workshops responsible for producing prototypes, complete the team. This collaboration, where each brings his or her own expertise, enables GD&T to cover a wide range of services and provide coordinated support for your developments.
